Waimarino is idyllically located on the banks of the Wairoa River, just 10 minutes from central Tauranga. This tranquil paradise is based around the sport of kayaking and since 1975 Waimarino has become Bay of Plenty’s premier kayak and adventure location.

Amazing Race You’ve all seen the T.V program now its time to try it Waimarino style!!! The Waimarino team will set up a race format to suit all skill levels and abilities whether it’s a 1 hour sprint or the full on experience there will always be time to reflect on the race highlights while enjoying the exciting facilities at Waimarino.  There is nothing like competition to bind a team.

Glowworm Tour Magical, Energising, Amazing, Inspiring If any of the above words described the activity you and your group are looking for the Glow Worm Tour is for you. The evening will begin relaxing on the edge of Lake McLaren enjoying delicate New Zealand cheeses and refreshments or maybe a gourmet dinner....  Our guides will prepare to lead you along the picturesque Lake McLaren into the mysterious glow worm canyon. A truly magical, unique and inspiring experience / not to be missed

Team Building Rotation The tried and true team building package. The group will be divided in to even groups mixing all skills and abilities. You will then partake in several team games and fun activities designed to expose strengths and weaknesses and challenge every member of the team. Finish the day then or stay on for a social gathering after hours!!!!

Te Po Experience Start the day out with a relaxing Wairoa river tour back down to Waimarino. On completion of the paddle everyone will regroup and be briefed then divided into teams. Then it’s time for a little competition, you will be guided around the team building rotation with the Waimarino staff keeping careful score. At the end of the rotations, scores will be added, protests made and a winning team will be revealed.  Now the results are in finish the night under the marquees watching the sunset enjoying great food and a few refreshments. The full on corporate experience!!!
